about

This album is my version of an instrumental mixtape, with lots of guitar playing and a bunch of really cool grooves. Most of the songs are short and they seem to float by, dreamlike. Jay Israelson plays keyboards beautifully on the second track, "The Soother". The final track features a monologue by Bryan Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative, juxtaposed with an instrumental that I recorded on the Tascam 388. The two pre-existing pieces fit together so well that they barely required editing. There are other tracks on the album that seemed to come together magically as well, which is partly why I chose the title "Dream Accidental". The other reason being that it can be taken literally. Miles Wintner illustrates this, most excellently, with his cover art. Please enjoy.
Thanks,
Davin
